West Hancock defeated Unity 7-0 at home Thursday, April 11. West Hancock got the scoring started in the home second inning. Camie Montgomery reached on a passed ball, stole second and advanced to third on a passed ball. Baillie Montgomery singled to left field, scoring Camie for a 1-0 lead. Aubree Karle grounded out to the pitcher and Montgomery advanced to second. Jordyn Climer walked. Bailie Montgomery stole third and Climer second. Abbie Stanley grounded into a fielder’s choice. Montgomery scored and Climer scored on an error by the third baseman to take a 3-0 lead. Stanley advanced to third. Jaiyden Huston flew to left field and Stanley scored to make it 4-0 after tagging up. Jadyn Climer flew out to end the inning.

Bailie Montgomery was hit by a pitch and stole second base to open the home fourth inning. Karle singled to shortstop, scoring Montgomery to make it 5-0.

In the home fifth inning, Larson flew out for the first out. Isabella Brown reached on a dropped third strike. Camie Montgomery singled to center and Brown advanced to second. Bailie Montgomery bunted and reached on an error by the pitcher. Brown and Camie Montgomery scored for a 7-0 lead to finish the scoring in the game.

Jadyn Climer got the win, giving up just two hits while striking out eight and walking only one. Karle, Camie and Bailie Montgomery got a hit each. Huston, Karle, Stanley and Bailie Montgomery had a run batted in each.

Monmouth-Roseville

Jordyn Climer singled to open the home first inning against Monmouth-Roseville Friday, April 12. Lakinn Larson singled to center field and Climer was out trying to advance home. Larson advanced to third on the throw. Isabella Brown hit a sacrifice fly to center to score Larson for a 1-0 lead. Camie Montgomery flew out to end the inning.

Jordyn Climer popped out to open the home sixth inning. Larson singled to left field. Brown grounded to the first baseman, advancing Larson to second. Kaia Figge singled to left field and scored Larson for a 2-0 lead, which would be the final score.

Jordyn Climer allowed just three hits. She had 10 strikeouts and walked three. The Lady Titans improved to 10-2 on the season.
