The West Hancock track teams competed Friday, April 12, at the Central Southeastern (CSE) invitational in Camp Point. The boys team placed third with 79 points. Central won the boys meet with 107 points and Brown County was second with 82 points. The girls team was fourth with 46 points. Central was first with 132 points. Winchester was second with 128 points and Liberty was third with 90 points.

Boys results

The 4 x 800-meter relay team of Quentin Althar, Parker and Dominick Quinlan and Evan Carel was first in 9:26.2 minutes. The 4 x 400 relay team of Althar, Parker and Dominick Quinlan and Bryce Varner was first in 3:44.43. Althar was first in the 800 meters in 2:11.72. In the 100 meters, Bryce Varner was second in 11.65 seconds. Nolan Gooding was second in the triple jump in 11.75 meters. Althar finished second in the 1,600 meters in 5:05.11 minutes. Gooding was third in the long jump at 5.88 meters. Parker Quinlan was third in the 400 meters in 56.36 seconds. Carel was fourth in 200 meters in 24.49.

Joel Cochran was fifth in the 3,200 meters in 13:55.39 minutes. Dominick Quinlan was sixth in the 400 meters in 58.23 seconds. Wade Gooding was seventh in the discus with a best throw of 28.77 meters. Cochran was 10th in the 1,600 meters in 6:24.20 minutes. Wesley Hester was 10th in the discus in 26.19 meters. Wade Gooding was 11th in shot put in 8.95. Cochran was 14th in the long jump with 3.93. Conner Primmer was 14th in the shot put in 8.20.

Girls results

The 4 x 800 relay team of Allyson Poland, Jenny Torgerson, Susanna Stout and Grace Poland was second in 13:09.72 minutes. Olivia Vradenburg was second in the shot put in 9.33 meters. Erin Colvin was third in the discus with a best throw of 28.03.

Grace Grothaus was third in the long jump in 4.69. Susanna Stout was third in the 1,600 meters in 6:44.79 minutes. Olivia Vradenburg was fourth in discus with 27.89 meters. Grothaus was fourth in the 200 meters in 29.67 seconds. Grothaus was fifth in 100 meters in a time of 13.91. The 4 x 100 relay team of Tatum Antonelli, Grothaus, Taylor Suter and Jenny Torgerson finished fifth in 1:01.41 minutes. Torgerson was eighth in the 400 meters in 1:17.04. Grace Poland was 10th in the 800 meters in 3:27.87. Allyson Poland was 11th in the 400 meters in 1:25.25. Taylor Suter was 11th in the 200 meters in 33.62 seconds. Olivia Kazukauskas was 12th in 6.44 meters in the shot put. Tatum Antonelli was 13th in the 100 meters in 15.15 seconds.
